The purpose of this manual is to provide guidance andinformation related to the instrumentation of concrete structures andthe measurement of structural behavior.
The discussion of the principles, applications, andequipment in this manual is intended to assist in designing, installing, operating and utilizing data from instrumentation systems installed onlarge concrete structures to monitor structural behavior and to servefield operations or those operating as contracting officers represent-atives.
