Message: Corrosion at the connection between a drop inlet and the conduit is the cause of many dam failures.

The connection between the drop pipe and the conduit can be difficult to evaluate. However, the condition of the connection is very important and corrosion can be a serious problem. Even if the rest of the pipe appears to be in good condition, the connection may not be.
