Access is Needed for Inspection, Cleanout, and Measurement

Message: It is important to provide access to drain pipes. Future access may be required for regular inspections of the pipe conditions, cleanout of drain pipes, or flow measurements.

This Granite County dam has aging CMP drains. Regular inspection is critical to monitor deterioration. Hoever, a 90 degree bend has made inspection difficult, requiring use of a specialty contractor at great cost.

Ports were included to facilitate future cleanout of drains in a recently rehabilitated Powell County dam.
