- CRS 37-87-105 regulates the construction of new dams, and modification, repair or enlargement of existing dams
- CRS 37-87-107 provides the authority to the State Engineer to set the safe storage level of all reservoirs in the state
- CRS 37-80-102 provides the State Engineer with the authority to promulgate Rules for the regulation of Dams in accordance with the requirements of CRS 24-4-103
