The equations from these studies, however, are location specific and should not be used in any other areas. Local experts should be consulted for information on the existence and applicability of regional equations”.[1]

“The most important variable in the regression equations is precipitation; therefore, the key to using this method is to have a good estimate of watershed average precipitation for the time period of interest”.[1]
