[Paragraph here]
Measurement Devices
Strain Gauge
- “Two types of gages are generally used for measuring strains: surface gages and internal or embedded gages. These types can be further divided into short- and long-term gages, depending on the duration of measurements. Usually, short-term strains are best measured by electrical type gages, while some long-term strains (e.g., creep and shrinkage) can be conveniently measured using detachable mechanical gages”.[1]
