Message: Bituminous Coating significantly extends conduit design life.
This CMP conduit was recently removed from a Judith Basin County, MT dam. The pipe is still in acceptable structural condition, with no significant corrosion showing on the pipe interior. The bituminous coating was an integral component of the corrosion protection.
